چکیده

In this study, the tensile and stress rupture behavior were investigated on GH4151 alloy with different grain sizes. The test samples obtained from turbine disk positions. analysis of micro-structure, size, fracture morphology carried out by several typical characteristics way, indicating that influence size is mainly affected number boundary, which affects superalloy. strength fine-grained specimens are higher than coarse-grained specimens, so plasticity. At same condition, life reduced 82.5 h to 33.5 as decreased 22.3 μm 11.1 μm, 59.4%. Moreover, elongation rate increased 6.60 % 25.48 decreased, 286%.

Evaluating the Effect of Ta/W Ratio on Microstructure and Stress Rupture Properties of Ni-Based Single Crystal Superalloy PWA1483

In this study, the effect of Ta/W ratio on the microstructure and stress rupture properties of Ni-based single crystal (SX) superalloy PWA1483 was investigated. For this purpose, single crystal (SX) superalloys with different Ta/W ratios (0.75, 1.0, 1.32 and 1.5 in wt.%) were fabricated. The alloys were directionally solidified by Bridgman method under the same solidification condition at withd...

Influence of orientation-dependent grain boundary oxidation on fatigue cracking behaviour in an advanced Ni-based superalloy

Fatigue tests have been conducted on an advanced disc Ni-based superalloy (Low Solvus, High Refractory (LSHR) alloy) at 650 C in air under three-point bend loading to investigate the role of orientation-dependent grain boundary oxidation in crack initiation and early propagation. It is found that crack initiation occurs mainly from bulged grain boundary oxides, and cracks then predominantly pro...
